Cookie Policy

The short version

This site sets one cookie, and only if you are a Sellecomm administrator who has logged in. If you are here as a visitor reading about marketing, we set nothing.

That is why there is no cookie banner. We are not being clever — there is genuinely nothing to consent to.

What a cookie is

A small file a website stores in your browser so it can recognise you on a later request. Cookies are how a site remembers you are logged in. They are also how most of the internet tracks you across unrelated sites, which is the part people object to, and reasonably so.

The cookies we set

`sellecomm_session` — set only when an administrator signs in to our admin dashboard. It holds a signed token identifying the logged-in user account. It is strictly necessary: without it, staying signed in is impossible. It is httpOnly (JavaScript cannot read it), sameSite=lax (it is not sent on cross-site requests), and it expires after 7 days. It contains no personal information beyond an internal account identifier.

That is the complete list.

What we do not set

  • No advertising cookies
  • No third-party tracking pixels
  • No Meta pixel, no Google Ads remarketing tag, no LinkedIn Insight tag
  • No cross-site profiling of any kind

We are a digital marketing agency and we know exactly how much can be harvested from a visitor. We have chosen not to. If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, this page will be updated first and a consent banner will appear before anything is set.

Analytics

We measure page views in aggregate using a privacy-respecting method that does not require a cookie and does not identify individual visitors. We can tell you that a page was read 400 times. We cannot tell you who read it, and we do not want to.

Refusing cookies

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies — usually under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking ours has no effect on you unless you are an administrator, in which case you will not be able to sign in. That is not a dark pattern; it is arithmetic.
